I could use a little guidance and research on teslapunk for a graphic novel idea I'm working on.

1943 takes place in an alternate 20th Century, in which much of the technology available is electronically powered and based upon designs by Nikola Tesla. The story opens on June 30th, 1908 at a remote laboratory near the Podkamennaya Tunguska River. Mad scientist Nikola Tesla has nearly completed a devastating directed energy weapon that he could use to take over the world. Before he can complete the weapon, the laboratory is broken into by a squad of American heroes, called the Freedom Force; consisting of heroes the Shade, twins Stars and Stripes, fighter pilot Aviator, and leader Captain Freedom. During the fight, the core of the energy weapon, an unstable precursor to plutonium, becomes damaged and explodes; creating an explosion that devastated the surrounding countryside and killing Freedom Force and supposedly Tesla with them.

The story then jumps ahead to the early years of World War II and the German have strange war machines seemingly powered by inventions of Tesla's design. A reporter named Ace discovers a secret Allied conference consisting of President Roosevelt and Albert Einstein, among others, and a new Freedom Force who are sent on a mission to stop the German war machine and find out who's responsible for the creation of the German's new weapons.

Please, can anyone point me in the direction of teslapunk stories?

It's good that you are anchoring your story to the proper Teslapunk era between Steam and Diesel by beginning in 1908. The rest seems a little messy. You state that in this alternate history most of the world's technology is based on Tesla's technology. So what makes Tesla want to take over the world? It certainly wouldn't be due to frustration. If the world uses Tesla technology and the Nazis are weaponizing it then it defeats its own purpose. It would be like open sourcing a doomsday weapon so anybody would know exactly how it works and how to stop it. It doesn't have to have Nikola Tesla to be Teslapunk. The Teslapunk part is how the technology causes cultural impact. I'd also be careful not to alienate people who admire the real life Nikola Tesla. If you really want to have a bad guy who is in the public domain I would recommend Guy Boothby's character Dr. Nikola. On a technology note I don't know what a precursor to Plutonium would be in 1908. I guess a retro-futuristic machine would bombard protons at something like Radium to create a synthetic isotope. Tesla tech would be more likely to use radiant energy though.
